An AI score is not a candidate assessment
Resumes are concise and often follow similar templates. That makes authorship judgments from wording especially uncertain. Recruiters should assess job-relevant evidence, experience, and interviews. A detector result should not be used to filter out applicants or accuse them of dishonesty.
Check for specificity before checking for AI
“Results-driven professional” tells a reader little. A stronger statement explains a project, a responsibility, or a measured outcome. If you used AI to edit, confirm it did not invent experience, certifications, employers, or metrics. Accuracy matters regardless of who helped phrase the text.
