Why another detector cannot predict Turnitin
Different detectors use different models, thresholds, input handling, and updates. Running the same passage through AI Detect does not reproduce Turnitin’s analysis. A reassuring result here cannot guarantee an outcome elsewhere, and disagreement between systems is not proof that either one is correct.
